At Dixon Associates, we are acutely aware of the impact that all businesses have on the environment.

Limiting Travel Emissions
Our staff work on a hybrid remote-office basis, reducing emissions from commuting. We also encourage meetings and interpreting services to take place remotely rather than face-to-face wherever appropriate to limit unnecessary journeys. The strategic location of our office also allows our staff to easily commute using public transport.
Working Digitally to Reduce Material Wastage
We are fortunate in that, being a service-based business, we produce very little by way of emissions, and work digitally wherever possible to prevent using material resources unnecessarily. For example, we only ever print the final version of a translation, never draft versions, and only if it is specifically required.
Data Storage
We actively monitor the content stored on our servers and delete anything being stored unnecessarily, with the aim of reducing data storage and hence the energy being used by our servers. We also avoid unnecessary use of AI systems, due to the high energy consumption of these services.
Recycling
We are fully committed to workplace recycling and are compliant with the local recycling laws in our offices.

We work with suppliers to ensure that any products and materials we procure have strong environmental credentials.
