Interpreting - The spoken Word

"Think like a wise man but communicate in the language of the people"
William Butler Years (1865-1939)

Interpreting is the oral rendering of the meaning of the spoken word from one
language into another by interpreters working into and out of their mother tongue

We can provide you with an interpreter on an ad hoc, consecutive or simultaneous basis.
After assessing your business requirement we can advise on the most suitable type of interpreter for you. At the same time we ensure that the interpreter is fully briefed so that
they have an understanding of your business and the topics and issues likely to be covered.

Typical interpreting assignments include:
Conference support
International Exhibitions
Overseas visits, including factory visits, client visits etc.
Telephone calls for sales prospection, to arrange meetings, discuss order
  queries, chase overdue accounts etc.
Interpreting for the NHS and local solicitors and courts.

We provide two different types of interpreting -
We provide two different types of interpreting -
Consecutive interpreting and Simultaneous interpreting:

Consecutive interpreting is the most commonly requested as it is the easiest service to arrange and set up. A consecutive interpreter will wait until the end of the speaker’s sentence before interpreting.

Simultaneous interpreting requires interpreters working in teams of 2 or 3 in sound-proofed booths. Interpreters interpret what the speaker is saying as they are saying it into a microphone, and the delegates listen through headsets.
